Our Grading Scale

Grade 1
Major surface damage for example cuts, scratches or severe creasing. The card may exhibit heavy text or artwork damage throughout. Torn corners or missing corners, resulting in a significant visual alterations to the card.

Grade 2
The card may exhibit heavy scratching throughout the card on artwork or text. Corners will be misshapen or worn.

Grade 3
Card will start to lose integrity in multiple areas of the card. Corners will be misshapen or worn. The centering for this card must be greater than 85/15 for any opposite pair on the front and 85/15 for any opposite pair on the rear of the card.

Grade 4
The card may start to lose its colour but no major. The centering for the card must be greater than 80/20 on the front and 80/20 for the rear of card.

Grade 5
Corners may have whitening or fraying of any edges. Some scratches may obstruct the artwork of the card or text. Centered of the card must be greater than 80/20 of both sides of the card.

Grade 6
Evidence of handling or general wear and tear. Moderate damage or whitening to edges or corners. Centered of the card must be greater than 80/20 of both sides of the card.

Grade 7
Excellent condition with minimal signs of wear and tear. Minor printing defects. Edges and corners can have light whitening and light surface damage. Centered within a 75/25 ratio on the front and rear of card.

Grade 8
Amazing condition but may have some minor imperfections with only slight wear or whitening. Minor printing defects and potential presence of print lines. Centring within a 70/30 ratio on front and back.

Grade 9
Visually perfect to the naked eye. Very very slight imperfections, this could be light printing lines or very faint whitening on microscope inspection. Centered with a 60/40 ratio to achieve the mint grading.

Grade 10
Flawless condition, corners and edges with no whitening and rounded edges. All borders equal and centering is less than a 60/40 split.
